This is Tapio Wirkkala's beautiful interpretation of Rosenthal's 100th year celebration. For this design Tapio Wirkkala recieved honors in Industrial Design. Backstamped with 100 years of Rosenthal. With the "Century" design transparency is particularly remarkable, The point relief is directed inward, when held to the light there are two densities of translucence giving a remarkable interest of light not often found in porcelain. The condition is as new. The colours bright and beautiful.
