Payment:

Payment is to be made in full upon placement on an order.  

ONLINE - Payment can be made online via our preferred payment service provider(s).

BY CHEQUE - If you would prefer to pay via cheque please make cheques payable to "DesignerXS" and send with a note detailing who you are (including you address, email address and telephone number) and the items you would like to order to the following address:

Warranties:

All products available from DesignerXS are clearance, discontinued or second hand items. We offer no warranties other than the condition to which we describe them.


Online security:

Because we process our payments through PayPal, you can be sure that all of your details will be 100% secure and confidential. Once on PayPal systems, all sensitive data is secured using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards used by, among others, the US Government. The encryption keys are held on state-of-the-art, tamper proof systems in the same family as those used to secure VeriSign's Global Root certificate, making them all but impossible to extract. The data PayPal holds is extremely secure and they are regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure it remains so.

Quality control:

Where possible and where practical, we shall inspect all products prior to dispatch from our warehouse to ensure that they are undamaged, complete and match your orders. You agree to examine the delivery and report any missing items within 3 working days of delivery.

Delivery of goods:

Unless otherwise agreed, we will wait until your entire order is ready for dispatch.
If you are not at your premises for delivery of goods and a storage charge or re-delivery charge is imposed by the courier company, we accept no liability - any fees incurred are to be paid by the customer.

We reserve the right to send any item via any carrier of our choice without notice. We will only ship to Verified Addresses that are supplied by PayPal with no exceptions.

All taxes and import and duties are the responsibility of the customer importing the items.

Cancellations & unwanted goods:

Cancellations for products can be made either before delivery or up to 7 days after delivery.

If you wish to cancel an item then please contact us as soon as possible and we can take you through this process.

Once your cancelled items have been received we will process a refund in form of a Gift Certificate excluding any delivery charges and the 20% restocking charge, this certificate will be vaild for 2 years.

Cancelled items are to be returned within 14 working days of being notified.

When returning products you wish to cancel please observe the following requirements:

- The cancelled product(s) must be as new, not fitted or used and complete in its original packaging with all fittings, fixings, accessories and any promotional free gifts received with the item included.
- Please do not damage the product packaging in any way. This includes ripping boxes, bags, protective plastic wrapping and writing on or sticking labels on the packaging.
- Please send items back to us in suitable packaging such as protective jiffy envelopes or sturdy boxes to ensure they are not damaged during transportation.
- Please send products back via a means appropriate to the product type - for instance we do not recommend that fragile items are returned via general post as they are likely to be damaged.
- If returned products are received damaged then we will not be able to process a refund. If the packaging is damaged then we may not be able to process a refund or may have to impose a manufacturer's re-packaging fee if available.

Damaged goods:

Damaged or missing goods must be reported within 5 working days of delivery. We will not accept any claims for damaged or missing items after this time frame. Please thoroughly inspect your order as soon as you are able to.

Once an item is found to be damaged we will process a replacement or refund.


Contact and opening times:

We can be contacted between 09.00 - 17.00 every working day (Monday - Friday). Our office is closed at the weekend and on bank holidays. Please feel free to email us at any time and we will endeavour to respond within a maximum of 24 hours.

We are closed at Christmas as most of our suppliers are also closed for this period. We will be closed from 23/12/2009 - 03/01/2010 (inclusive). During this time, emails will not be answered but you can still place orders online and these will be processed in the New Year.

DesignerXS.com may contain links to other sites on the internet which are owned and operated by third parties. DesignerXS.com will not be held responsible for the content of these sites nor any transactions including the exchange of personal information, confidential data, cookies or purchases between yourself and any external websites.


Privacy policy:

DesignerXS.com will NOT pass on or disclose any customer information to any third parties. Information collected during the payment process will only be used for the purposes of fulfilling that order. Information and data collected from the transaction process will not be used for any marketing material.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies. Data collected by this site is used to:

a. Take and fulfill customer orders
b. Administer and enhance the site and service
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes

Refusal to process an order:

DesignerXS.com reserves the right to refuse to process, accept or handle an order from any customer for any reason at any given time. In such an event we will aim to contact you with an explanation as to why we have reached this decision.
