The Ancients were well acquainted with the herb Rosemary, which had the reputation for strengthening memory. On this account, it became the emblem of fidelity for lovers.  At weddings, the bride wore a wreath entwined with rosemary first dipped in scented water. Small Rosemary bunches tied with silken ribbons were given to wedding guests as a symbol of love and loyalty.  Rosemary is symbolic of faithfulness and devotion to our present time.

Rosmarinus is an evergreen shrub with narrow aromatic leaves and 2-lipped blue flowers borne in small clusters in the leaf axles. True to the Middle Age tradition, ribbons embrace the rosemary nosegays in this exclusive designer fabric.  The nosegays are scattered on a soft cream background.

This cushion fabric is of a beautiful quality. Both front and back are the same quality. The reverse side and piping is a matching plain cream 100% cotton.
