This elegant table lamp is a work of art that pays homage to Dionysus, the God of the grape harvest and fertility. The porcelain lamp base is in the baluster shape and is mounted on a cast brass base with stylized vine leaves and grapes wreathed on its surface.
The lamp is fitted with a continental lamp fitting and comes with an ivory silk shade with blue plaited edging, which adds to its luxurious look. The lamp is hand-decorated by Giulia Mangani, a renowned artist, and has her back stamp under-glazed on the bottom of the base.
This lamp was produced circa 1982 and can be purchased directly from Mangani.
