This elegant hand decorated table lamp is Guilia Mangani’s homage to Dionysus, God of the grape harvest and fertility. The picture of trailing vines producing a golden harvest of grapes fed by the light of this lamp.

A porcelain lamp base in the baluster shape, mounted on a cast brass base with stylised vine leaves and grapes wreathed on its surface. Fitted with a continental lamp fitting. The Mangani back stamp is under-glazed on the bottom of the base. Produced circa 1982; purchased direct from Mangani.
The shade in the form of a scalloped bell is in ivory silk with blue plaited edging
